    The Sansa line is a gret value they have a great line of players for everyone up to 8gd on some and they a inexpense i suggest the Sansa c250 2gb with a 1 gb micro sd card for more songs up to 1,500 wma or 750 Mp3’s

    Total cost for all about 90 bucks depending on where you get from.

    Besides an iPod I would recommend a Creative Zen. It comes with “ZEN Media Explorer” software which allows you to put music on it, so there is no need to buy music from places like iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster…etc. In the event that you do buy music the Zen works with both Rhapsody and Napster. An 8GB Zen will run you about $129.99
