How Do I wipe my MP3 players memory without using a computer?

Ben R asked:

About 1 year ago i purchased a Creative Zen V PLUS, after a years good use and no problems it suddenly decides to freeze on a song, and now every time i turn it on it goes straight to that song and freezes. I plugged it into my computer to delete the song but my computer will no longer recognize that the MP3 player is connected. I tried putting it in a freezer because i herd that wipes the memory, but no luck. are there any other ways of wiping the memory???

There should be a reset button/option on all mp3 players. Look though the booklet that came with it and that should work.

    Good luck x

bring it to jeek squad, putting it in the freezer only expands the parts so that parts that have shifted lose my reconnect.

hold down play while you turn it on… keep play held down until you reach the recovery mode menu… from there you either want format all, or reload firmware, try both.
