Any type of software for mp3 players with viruses?

I have a sansa e260r and one day downloded music to it. But after downloading music to it, the songs never showed up or played on my mp3 player again. Everytime I try to download songs, the mp3 says, song library is empty. I called customer service, and they said that my mp3 has a virus. Any suggestions on software that will fix my mp3 player.
