Are there any child-aimed MP3 players out there that are compatible with a Mac?

I’m a 16-and-a-half year old aunt who’s wondering if there are any child-aimed, Mac-friendly MP3 players out there. My niece has just turned 4 and she wants to take her music everywhere she goes on an MP3 player like I do with my iPod. Can you help me out here?

well there’s the ipod shuffle , like a child sized ipod .
mp3 players
the ipod shuffle is your best choice here. I run mac computers too and I have tried out many different mp3 players. ohers are compatible if you know how to make them compatible, but the ipods will outlast any other.

An ipod shuffle would be good. They only hold about 270 songs but don’t have a screen so all the songs are random. I think that would be a good present for her as they come in different colours and they are quite cheap.

my son gets to use my samsung copy of an ipod as an occasional treat. it has a built in speaker so it will not damage his ears. and it only cost about £20 for a 2gig one as it not made by apple. he’s 4 and has it in the car if he has been really good, once in a while
i got mine from ebay if that helps
